Justin has been treating my Ash trees for years. He was always helpful and friendly when doing so. 4 years ago my two large oaks started dripping all this sticky nonsense and being SO covered in wasps it was crazy. After some research, I realized it was a Kermes Scale infestation... basically a death sentence for the Oaks as far as I could tell. I had Justin come out and we discussed possible options. Justin ALWAYS wants to do what is best for the trees. Sometimes that means taking them down, but in this case he couldn't imagine giving up on my 50 year old oaks without a fight. He suggested a treatment with no idea if it would work but a hope that it would make a difference. He was straight forward with me about odds of success and never tried to sell me any false hope, which I really appreciated.
Yesterday he came to my house for my bi-annual Ash treatment and immediately stopped at the curb. "Oh, my gosh! Look at those Oaks!" 😂 Indeed, I am cautiously optimistic that they are no longer dying. I haven't seen any Scale in several years and the die-back that was happening throughout the tree seems to have stopped. Justin may very well have saved both of my 30 foot oaks.
Every time Justin comes, he always talks to me about all of my trees; not just the one he is treating. I can ask him any questions and he is happy to answer and give me other tips.
He's just super passionate about trees. What more could you want in your tree-guy?

I called the Tree MD after hours and surprisingly had them answer the phone, after expecting to leave a voicemail. They were quick to send Justin to our home and communicated well. I needed advice if my two ash trees needed to be treated.  I called Justin and very quickly he returned my call.  He was out to my house the same afternoon and gave me a reasonable quote to treat my two ash trees.  He quickly sent me the estimate and my work was scheduled for the following week.  He works closely with his wife who handles all the scheduling and office work.  They make a tremendous team together, that is very tree and customer focused.  I am looking forward to having my trees treated to ensure healthy trees.  It is much cheaper and more cost effective to treat the trees than having to pay for the removal and replacement. I have two of the most beautiful ash trees in my yard- and I worry about loosing them to the boring beetle.  Which is why I am so pleased with the care that Tree MD has done to treat them the past 8+ years. The owner, Justin, has also spent many afternoons walking my yard with me discussing other trees issues I've had. Tree MD has helped me save some of my trees, and advised to remove the ones that were dangerous. I’ve never seen someone so dedicated to his clients needs. Justin, owner of Tree MD of Northern Colorado, has been great with diagnosing my diseased trees, followed by trimming (sometimes needed around the base of certain trees in order to treat with injections), cleaning up and hauling away trimmings. He saved my ash trees and is now treating my evergreens. Justin is very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, polite and thorough. He does an excellent job of answering all of my questions and making sure to give me very clear and easy instructions on things I can do to help facilitate ongoing tree health.
